Jailbreak iOS 4.2 on iPhone 3G / iPod touch 2G with Redsn0w 0.9.6 [Not-Official]

MuscleNerd the well-known Dev-Team member, just sent on his twitter a confirmation about the cabability of the newly released redsn0w 0.9.6b1 to jailbreak iOS 4.2 on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G. Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 is officially jailbreak iOS 4.1 / 4.0 on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G.

Since some will try it anyway: this redsn0w will also JB 4.2beta1 by pointing it at the 4.1 ipsw, but it's *very* broken (flickers, etc)

You can jailbreak iOS 4.2 on your iPhone 3G or iPod touch 2G, but at your own risk, you can check our jailbreak guide posted here, but make sure you browsed on redsn0w to iOS 4.1 (not iOS 4.2), the all other steps are the same. If you are not skilled downing this, so please stay away until it became official. [via redmondpie]
